Taking
up a sport or regular exercise can have a hugely beneficial effect on
you and your children. Getting fit improves all sorts of aspects of our
life. It can improve our health, enhance our self-esteem, (which is often
at an all time low at the end of a relationship), enable us to meet new
people and make new friends. It is often something that we can do with
our children (depending on their age) and this can benefit the communication
within the family. Apart from all of this, it can give us more energy
and renew our enthusiasm for life. Whatever you do, even if it's just
exercises in front of the TV.... enjoy yourself!
