emotional support

The breakdown of a relationship, regardless of the reasons behind it, is probably one of the most emotionally draining experiences that we can undergo in our adulthood. This is often made more traumatic where children's feelings are also involved.
It is vital that during such emotional times we are able to talk about our feelings. The old saying 'a problem shared is a problem halved' is, in some respects very true. We may have friends and family that we can talk to but there is often no substitute for talking to someone in the same situation as you. Visit our chat room to talk to people in similar situations to you, or have your say in our comments section. Alternatively, someone who is trained to deal with these situations can be extremely supportive and for this reason we have compiled a register of counsellors.
